Is all this really necessary? Why can't we just have a password?
Unfortunately, yes, it is necessary. To give all of our BrakeQuip customers the advantage over their competetors, we have spent many years and great cost, doing extensive research of genuine brake hoses for the Australian market. This invaluable data is available to our exclusive distributors only.Furthermore, we have also added a state of the art, easy to use ordering section, complete with price and weight intergration. We do understand that during your busy day, you may struggle to find the time to log on, but we need to ensure that this information is only available to our dedicated BrakeQuip customers.
Did you know?
That the session timeout is now 10 hours! This means you can log on in the morning and leave the window open all day so you can come back and use it at your will without having to get another activation link.

Why can't I get my log on link?
From time to time we get asked this question. We have come to realise that the problem generally is with customers that have their own webhost for their website and their emails run through their webhost. Whilst these webhosts are great for fighting spam, sometimes they can block out usefull information, ie. the BrakeQuip log on link coming through to your inbox. Because we send you a link in the email, the automatic spam filter can sometimes think that we are trying to send you mass emails, which are generally unwanted.Although annoying, there are ways around this.
Most people that have their own website usually have a 'computer guy' to help them with their I.T. You will need to tell them that you are not receiving emails coming through from BrakeQuip containing log in links to our website, and that the spam filters in the webmail are stopping the emails coming through to your inbox before you get a chance to see them.
They will need to log in and add the BrakeQuip domain to a safe senders list.
To our experience, this fixes anybodys problem regarding their log in links.

When I log in it tells me 'You have encounted an error'
This can be caused by one of two problems.Firstly, you should delete all of the emails from BrakeQuip regarding log on links. This can be done easily by clicking the 'Subject' text in the subject column and sorting them all together. Once all the BrakeQuip log on emails are grouped together, simply click the email that is at the top of this group, then whilst holding shift click the last email. Pressing delete will clear these emails from your inbox. It is a good idea to delete them every now and then or after each use as they are invalid after their first use.
Once you have deleted all of these emails go back to the BrakeQuip site and re-enter your account number and press 'enter' once. If you click enter more than once you will receive two emails, which confuses the system as to which link you actually want to use. You can now go back to your inbox and press 'send/receive' so you receive your log on link. Clicking the link once will open a new window and your session will begin.

I followed those instructions but I am still getting the same error. What can I do now?
If you are still getting the same error message after following those steps there may be an issue with your Internet browsers cookies. Cookies are little bits of information stored on your computer regarding each website you have been to. To delete cookies from your Internet browser you need to follow this easy process. This example is using Internet Explorer 8.1. Open up Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools > Internet Options

3. Click 'Delete' under the Browsing History section.

4. Making sure that only the 'Cookies' box is ticked, click the Delete button.
NOTE: Doing this will make your browser forget your passwords that are automatically saved into some websites. You may need to re-enter them.

5. Once this is complete, go back to brakequip.com.au and enter your account number again to get a fresh email. When you have clicked the link your browser will automatically log you in.
If you are still having trouble after completing all these steps in this guide, please call Daniel in the office on (03) 8586-2500 so we can try to come up with another possible solution.
